Food for thought: Are you ready?
Hello everyone. We thank you for your love and support for our Church and our family. Please continue to pray for our church, our pastor and his leadership, and our church leaders that we may continue to share the word of God. We are so blessed and grateful for the growth in our church, the ability to share our messages and newsletters with our viewers, and the strengthening of our church family and viewers as a congregation and as individuals. We strive to bring encouragement and connection through this newsletter, which we will continue to post every 1st of the month. So, we hope you will continue to learn and grow in God's word with us.
As you all know, this month is the month we celebrate our LORD’s sacrifice, death, and resurrection. A Sacrifice that we all take for granted. A death that so many in His time wanted, and a death where life would forever change in His resurrection, and where all mankind was given a choice/chance to forever be redeemed in His blood.
Isaiah 53:1-6 NKJV -
Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
He gave Himself for you and I. For all generations. So that we will not have to face judgment day alone, Our LORD Jesus took our burdens, our sins, and all that is evil within, and paid for it with His blood on that cross thousands of years ago…
John 1:1-5 NKJV - The Eternal Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
We as individuals and as His creation have always turned away from Our God; we have turned our backs on one another and on our creator, yet He never stopped loving and will never take away an opportunity to come back to Him.
Jeremiah 23:23-24 NKJV -
“Am I a God near at hand,” says the LORD,
“And not a God afar off?
Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the LORD;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the LORD.
Please DO NOT wait, we don’t know when our time will come to meet our Creator face to face and stand judgment. We must choose every single day to let Our LORD lead the way. To accept Him, Jesus, the Christ, as our Lord and Savior!
Don’t wait!!
Our Lord is merciful and will forgive ALL sin. He is here waiting with open arms. Don’t deny or turn away from your only chance to true freedom and happiness forevermore!
John 3:16-17 NKJV - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
I know for me, I used to think that what I do in this lifetime will get me closer to heaven, and if I'm good enough and do good things, that might get me a pass into heaven.
But on that day, I have to stand in front of our LORD, He will make me accountable for ALL my life, for ALL my deeds, and for ALL my sins.
I will have to answer for everything I have done in my lifetime, and I will be condemned and forever be apart from our Creator, because there is only one way to be forever in our Savior's presence:
John 14:6 NKJV - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Please do not let the door shut on your chance to let our Savior save you for all time. Let Him in before it’s too late. Like this statement made in the last few hours of this man’s life:
Luke 23:39-43 NKJV -
Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying,
“If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”
But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus,
“Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”
We won’t all get this opportunity to turn everything over to our Savior. Don’t take that chance, accept Him today and every day, forevermore.
Special Prayers:
Pray for our Newsletter that we can continue to write through the Holy Spirit
Pray for our Pastor and our church that we may be blessed to continue to grow and share the word of God
Pray for the men and women in the military and their families in this time of war. Pray that God will protect them and be with them where they are as they serve overseas and give comfort to their families.
Pray also for the people in Iran and Isreal that God will be with them
Pray for healing for Will's dad, he recently had a heart attack and is in recovery.
Pray for a young man named Aaron and his parents. Both of his parents are battling cancer. Please pray for healing on them both along with strength, guidance, comfort, and peace for their family during these difficult days.

Announcements:
Join us For Sunrise Easter service
We will begin at 7am with the first 6 words spoken by Jesus on the Cross, followed by the Easter service and the final word given by our pastor. We will serve breakfast following the message, please invite friends and family!
Sun's out, burritos out! We will be having Burrito Sales every other week, weather permitting. If you would like to participate in sales, please make 2 dozen burritos per family or baked goods to sell. Any help or support is also greatly appreciated.
Get Involved! There are many ways you can support our church inside and outside of service and help us reach out to our community here in Berthoud. You can help us with the newsletter, plan a fellowship meeting, lead a church activity, help keep the church clean, join in on decorating the church seasonally, design and build church floats in the winter and summer parade, play with and teach the little kids that come in, participate in bible studies, sing or play in worship, lead a bake/ craft sale, make burritos for our Burrito Sales, help maintain the church property, etc.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Colossians 3:23)
